A tribute to the people who defined cypherpunk, articulated its ideas and wrote the code.

The series comprises 11 NFTs and 11 physical collages. It was minted on the now-closed Raretoshi platform, which used the Bitcoin Liquid Network rather than Ethereum or Counterparty. Liquid is a Bitcoin sidechain; transaction fees are paid in L-BTC, pegged 1:1 to bitcoin.

Thirty years after the May 1993 Wired article, eleven makers of the ideas and code put on masks again. This time they take the form of raw painted profiles of individual faces.

At the center stands Satoshi Nakamoto with eyes wide open — a figure who left a trace only in code. On either side are the makers and ideological founders of cypherpunk, eyes closed as if dreaming of digital freedom.

The series takes its name from the introduction in which Timothy C. May presented the Crypto Anarchist Manifesto to the mailing list. Each NFT is backed by a framed physical collage.
