I Am Satoshi Nakamoto is the first Bitcoin motif I created and printed. It originated in 2017 out of pure enthusiasm and a need to visualize the cypherpunk themes that had surrounded me at Paralelní Polis since 2014. The inspiration was the hunt for Bitcoin's mythical creator — a mysterious figure whose face we will never see, yet whose work shapes the world. It emerged amid speculation about Satoshi's identity — from Dorian Nakamoto and Craig Wright to the perennial "Faketoshis".

I acquired screen-printing equipment in 2016 and, without previous experience, began working at the large format of 100 × 70 cm. Even a year later, my printing was not yet free of mistakes, as the first copies show where the black ink did not transfer fully.

A collage and three-color acrylic screen print. The motif appeared in an edition of 30 in 2017 — half blue and half dark purple —, an edition of 12 in 2018, and four color variants of 5 to 11 copies in 2019: purple, pink, red and yellow. The gallery shows all of these color variants.
